- Conditioning treatment tailored to coat type—using iGroom Deshedding + Detangling Conditioner, iGroom Argan + Vitamin E Conditioner, or Earthbath Oatmeal & Aloe Creme Rinse
- External anal gland expression, if needed
- Drying with a K9 II high-velocity dryer to lift out dead undercoat and reduce shedding
