Double-coated breeds have a thick undercoat beneath their topcoat that helps protect them from the elements—but it also means they shed heavily, especially during seasonal coat blows. Our mobile grooming service helps manage that shedding while keeping your dog comfortable, clean, and looking their best.
Rather than shaving these breeds (which can damage coat integrity and interfere with their ability to regulate body temperature), we focus on:
- Thorough bathing with coat-specific shampoos
- Coat conditioning to support skin and coat health
- High-velocity drying to lift out loose fur and dead undercoat
- Brushing with a rubber curry brush, which gently massages the skin and helps loosen packed-in hair without damaging the topcoat
This process also stimulates circulation and is especially effective during seasonal deshedding.

- Brushing to remove loose coat and prevent tangles
